Santana - Black Magic Woman Lyrics Meaning
Obviously it's a song about and similar to ''The Anti-Christ Woman'' which is mean and nasty, on the march that plays with her black magic tricks, wanting to make a devil out of her man. Anotherwords she wants to be in control for power over the Man by confusing him to be away from The Lord and his own self that is in her spell now. Where the Man proabably loves and needs her, but devevelopes a heart of stone to resist all of her conjured up tricks, in hope not to turn into a devil for her. It's just a basic blues song, and concerns what the other poster said. It's a cover of the Fleetwood Mac when they were cool song written by Mac's founder and original guitarist Pete Green.

The Santana and Journey keyboardist was a fan of the Peter Green -penned Fleetwood Mac track from the first time he heard it in , after bandmate Michael Shrieve gave him a copy of the song. Rolie immediately decided it was a piece of music he wanted to work on. However, his boss took a lot longer to be talked into the idea. It took a year of talking people into doing this.
